Unfortunately, officers seem to be busy during the worst hours of noise (e.g., 2 A.M.). Are there ways to stop loud motorcycles without resorting to increased police enforcement? One neighborhood resident wrote:
This issue seems to be the one thing that police in New Haven will not respond to.
I have been told many a time that they will address the noise on Upper State with no follow through.
Every year there are more of them and they are louder.

A loud motorcyclist must have an anatomy short coming. There can be no other psychological reason to announce your presence with so much noise!
Call your state representatives, repeatedly. We are ALL tortured with motorcycle noise. This small minority has no right to impose the racket on everyone else within literally a mile of themselves.
